Izoterm is a component of Alba-Road, which operates primarily in the construction materials industry.

Izoterm was founded in 1996. This date marked the opening of the first polystyrene plant in Albania, headquartered in the industrial city of Elbasan.
The plant in Elbasan operates in a 4,000 m2 building and  the whole corporation has an area of about 11,000 m2. It is located in the industrial area of the Metalurgic Plant.  The plant started its activity with the production of pressed polystyrene, insulated tile.

In 2000 the second plant opened in the 4th Km of the Tirana-Durres highway with a modern infrastructure and a strategic location in the industrial district of Tirana.

The plant in Tirana has an area of 5,000 m2, technical parameters and characteristics designed for polysterene production. The area where the office buildings are found is roughly 8,000m2.

In November of 2001, the new line of Izobeton Aditivato production was launched.more
